Fall Decorating

I love decorating for fall - inside and out! While I have nothing against them, I am not a huge fan of skeletons, ghosts, goblins, witches, etc. Most of my fall decorating is.....well, fallish.
I do have some Halloween décor mixed in too but mostly jack-o-lanterns! Take a look...
This is the top of our entertainment center.

And our front porch....

This red old tool box was a find at our local antique store. I love the chippy red paint! I saw it on one of my weekly cruises through the store but left without it. I couldn't stop thinking about it though so I went back and bought it! I love how it looks filled with gourds.

The W is a Hobby Lobby wooden letter that I painted using indoor/outdoor Krylon spray paint.

The fresh flowers in the vase (on the left) are from a lady who lives a few miles from us. She has a BEAUTIFUL flower garden every year - a HUGE flower garden every year. She cuts the flowers, puts them in vases and puts them out at the road with a "FREE - Donations appreciated" sign. I love picking up a bouquet every time I drive by. This one has lasted a long time here in this vase out on the porch. The donations are used for several great causes including a reading program that my children are part of. I also heard that some of the donations were used to buy an elderly lady a new furnace when hers quit this past winter. I think this is such an amazing thing this lady does!

Also outside near our front door.

This is what I call the sitting area. It is located straight ahead of the front door. (the front door is to the right in this picture.) I added some fall leaves on the gallery shelves and a couple little pumpkins too.

These tiny little dogs and pumpkin were from a country gift shop that closed last year. They are so cute and the kids love how the one on the right says, "Halloweiner!"

I have a name pumpkin for each child-Hugh, Claire, and Oliver.
They are from Personal Creations purchased a few years ago.

The linen tablecloth has a white embroidered W on it. Can you see it? It used to belong to my grandparents long, long ago. They were Wilsons. Since I also am a W now, I was the one who inherited it!

The tapestry on the left was from a church auction several years ago and the scarecrow hanger on the right was a gift from a special student 11 years ago! I love it and get it out every year!

This is the top of our "landing tower" by the front door.
The owl is metal and so cool! It is new this year! The black vined pumpkin candle holder is from Partylite a few years ago.

I have this scrappy wreath I made last year (see HERE) hanging on the back of our front door so we in the house can enjoy it!

Last week I shared with you my mantel adorned for fall...
See HERE for the post!

And this is the little centerpiece on our breakfast nook table...
I always have pops of turquoise in most everything. It's my fav! The gold pumpkin was a $ store purchase that I spray painted a metallic gold and then did another layer of gold glittered spray paint. The flowers were sent to me at school last week from our dear neighbor, Doris! Totally made my day! I love her! And the little hedgehog was a recent Target find! It is made from rattan and so. darn. cute. Totally unnecessary but at just $3, I couldn't pass it up!

After Halloween, I will remove the Halloween décor and add a couple turkeys and cornucopias to the existing fall décor! I am already getting excited about decorating for Christmas though!
